I’ve always used lifeproof but this case is badly designed. The coloured rubber lip detached on all the areas that you need to swipe on the X. Mine became so bad I submitted it for a lifetime guarantee replacement. They replaced it with the same model and it has happened again. Though this case has protected my phone it looks terrible and I wouldn’t recommend.

The color in the picture is slightly lighter than the real color, but not a deal breaker for me. It's durable thus far, only dropped it once onto a soft surface. But, it appears as if it will protect your phone as long as your phone doesn't land on a pointy surface directly on your screen. I love the clear back, but of course, it comes with a price - it shows all the smudges. Love it regardless.
